Overview:
Having worked as a team of 2, we were asked to create a logo for Studio City Arena, by adapting the existing logo of Studio City. Studio City Arena is a newly built stage for art and music performance inside Studio City.
Problem:
I am the only one who is capable to create 3D shape designs with Maya. However, our team only provides Cinema 4D for me. Another problem is that we will need to create 3 languages for the logo, including English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Solutions:
I self-studied the Cinema 4D within a week and successfully created the 3D logo shape then leave it to my senior to further modify in Photoshop. We have manually modified the path of the neon tube in Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese versions, in order to make it less complex.
